What is the Digital Kit

The Digital Kit is a public financial aid program, funded by "Next Generation EU", with the aim of promoting and advancing the digitization of SMEs and self-employed in Spain. These bonds range between 2,000 and 12,000 euros, where they can hire technological solutions through digitalizing agents.

This program is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the Digital Spain 2025 agenda and the SME Digitalization Plan. It has a budget of 3,067 million euros from EU funds.

Who can apply for the Digital Kit

SMEs with 1 to 49 employees

They must comply with the requirements established by the Government.

The amount of the subsidies will depend on the size of the company and the technological solutions to be implemented.

To apply for these grants you will have to contact one or more digitalizing agents, who will act as intermediaries with the Government.

Depending on the company segment, the maximum amount you can apply for will be:

Segment I

Small companies with between 10 and less than 50 employees -> 12.000€.

Segment II

Small or micro companies with between 3 and less than 10 employees -> 6.000€ -> 6.000€.

Segment III

Microenterprises with 1 to less than 3 employees and self-employed persons -> 2.000€.

How to process the Digital Kit

If you have enrolled in Acelera pyme, meet all the requirements and have completed the digital self-assessment test, all you have to do is look in the catalog of digital solutions that interest you for your business and contact the digitalizing agent to request your Digital Kit voucher. Once the aid has been granted, you will have a period of 6 months to sign with the digitalizing agent an Agreement for the provision of digitalization solutions, which will detail the characteristics of the technological solutions to be implemented, their execution and development period and the amount of the digital voucher, among others.

Step 1

The Digitizing Agent issues an invoice and the beneficiary pays the VAT + Expenses not included.

Step 2

The Digitizing Agent performs the implementation of the solution and starts providing services.

Step 3

The Digitizing Agent provides the supporting documentation to Acelera PYME, and Acelera PYME pays the amount of the voucher to the Digitizing Agent.
