What happened to Stocky
- Shopify pulled Stocky from the Shopify App Store on February 2, 2026: it can no longer be installed on new stores.
- Stocky stopped being available after August 31, 2026.
- Your historical data (purchase orders, stock counts, costs) doesn't transfer to Shopify on its own. Shopify gives about 90 days of read-only access to export what you can — supplier data can't be exported at all.
- Shopify's native alternatives (admin inventory, Shopify POS, Sidekick) only cover part of what Stocky did: there's no dedicated system for purchasing, suppliers and reordering.

When exactly did Stocky stop working?
According to Shopify's documentation, Stocky stopped being available after August 31, 2026, and could no longer be installed on new stores once it was removed from the Shopify App Store on February 2, 2026.
What happens to my Stocky data?
Shopify says Stocky's historical data isn't transferred automatically when the app shuts down. It offers a read-only access window of at least 90 days to export what you need; supplier data can't be exported. We recommend exporting your purchase orders, stock counts and costs before the cutoff.
Is Stockagile an official Shopify app?
Yes. Stockagile is published on the Shopify App Store. You install it from there, map each Shopify location to a store or warehouse, and turn on stock sync — without touching your theme, checkout or domain.
Does Stockagile replace Shopify POS too?
