What happens to stock when I confirm a production run?
When you confirm the order, the system automatically consumes the raw material quantities defined in the BOM —waste included— and adds finished product stock in the destination location. All in a single step, with no manual adjustments and fully traced: who, when and what was consumed.
Does the finished product enter stock ready to sell?
Yes. As soon as you confirm the run, the units you made go up into the destination warehouse's stock, available to sell in store, ecommerce or wholesale. No intermediate spreadsheet and no one having to remember to update anything.
Can I define a different BOM for each variant (size, color)?
Yes. The BOM is defined variant by variant: an XL can use more material than an S, and the calculated cost reflects that independently. If several variants share the same formula, copy it to all of them in one click so you don't repeat the process.
How does waste factor into the calculation?
You set an expected waste percentage per component in the BOM. The system adds it to the quantity consumed on each run, so raw material stock goes down by actual usage (material used + waste) and the cost of what's lost stays inside the product's real cost, not hidden in a mismatch.
Do kits and packs work the same as production orders?
No, they're different flows for different needs. Packs are bundled products that draw down their components' stock at the point of sale. Production orders make finished product by consuming raw materials — there, finished product stock goes up when you confirm the run, not at the sale.
Can I launch production runs from customer orders?
Yes. When you create the production order you can import an order from the Wholesale module to load the exact products and quantities, no re-keying. You make exactly what the customer ordered: no more, no less.
Is the production module connected to purchasing and inventory?
Yes, it's integrated from the ground up. Raw material stock goes down when you produce, finished product goes up, and you buy raw materials with the standard purchasing flow — all in the same system, with no external integrations. The manufacturing module is an add-on: ask us whether it fits your case.
