What's the difference between purchase replenishment and store replenishment?
They're two ways to restock depending on where the stock comes from. Store replenishment moves units from your central warehouse to each store with an internal transfer. Purchase replenishment generates an order to the supplier when you don't have the stock in-house. Stockagile covers both: if the warehouse has stock, you restock from it; if not, the need escalates to a purchase from the supplier.
Are the suggestions based on real sales or on an opaque algorithm?
On real sales. You choose the reference period — a week, a fortnight or the month — and the system loads exactly what each store has sold by variant. You see which SKU sold how much and can adjust any quantity before confirming. No black-box models.
Is minimum stock global or set by store and product?
By SKU, variant and location. Each product can have a different threshold in each store, warehouse or channel — the minimum for one size in your flagship needn't match the one in a small store. When stock falls to the threshold, the SKU is highlighted and lands in the next replenishment or purchase suggestion on its own. It's dynamic: it shifts with your sales pace without you having to touch it every time.
Can I restock several stores at once?
The multi-store replenishment report shows the stock and sales of all your locations in a single view, so you decide at a glance which one needs restocking first. Replenishment is generated by destination — you pick origin warehouse, destination store and period, and the system preloads the quantities — but you start from a global view, not by opening store after store.
What if the central warehouse doesn't have stock to restock either?
The system checks the available stock in the origin warehouse before creating the transfer. If there isn't enough, it flags it in the draft and doesn't over-allocate. From there, the need escalates to a purchase suggestion to the supplier, so the stockout is covered through the right channel.
Can replenishment be automatic, or do I have to review it every time?
Both. You can set minimum stock by product and location so the system generates the suggestion or launches the transfer automatically when the threshold is reached. If you'd rather review before executing, you turn on the notification and decide yourself with the suggestion already calculated in front of you.
