What happens to stock when I confirm a production order?
When you confirm, the system automatically consumes the raw material quantities defined in the BOM —waste included— and adds finished product stock in the destination location. All in a single step, with no manual adjustments, and fully traced: who confirmed it, when and what was consumed.
Does the finished product enter stock ready to sell?
Yes. As soon as you confirm the order, the units you made go up into the destination warehouse and become available to sell in store, ecommerce or wholesale. No intermediate spreadsheet and no one having to remember to update anything. If you have channel sync turned on, the new stock is reflected in your ecommerce instantly.
How do I know if I have enough raw material before launching the order?
The order's materials tab calculates, from the BOM, the quantities of each raw material needed for the full order and compares them against your real stock. If any is short, you see it flagged before you confirm and can generate the supplier purchase order without leaving the production flow.
How does waste factor into the order?
Expected waste is defined per component in the BOM. The system adds it to the quantity consumed on each order, so raw material stock goes down by actual usage (material used + waste) and the cost of what's lost stays inside the product's real cost, not hidden in a mismatch.
Can I launch a production order from a customer order?
Yes. When you create the order you can import an order from the Wholesale module to load the exact products and quantities, no re-keying. You make exactly what the customer ordered: no more, no less.
Are production orders connected to purchasing and inventory?
Yes, it's integrated from the ground up. Raw material stock goes down when you produce, finished product goes up, and you buy raw materials with the standard purchasing flow — all in the same system, with no external integrations.
